The Fredrick Jones Difference

wrought iron fence gate postsTypical construction of the Fredrick Jones line of wrought iron fence is a 5/8" x 5/8" SOLID steel picket sandwiched by 1/4" x 13/16" SOLID steel bars.  The horizontal solid steel bar has a 3/4" diameter faux rivet head, welded to give the authentic appearance of riveted construction, which was the method of the 1700's to 1800's.

The hand shaped scroll work is made of 3/16" SOLID steel with an embossed finish.  The ends are hand forged, flared and curled.  Metal banding joins the scroll work to give an authentic heritage appearance.

All the joints behind the rivet heads and bands are welded to make an incredible structure that will last a lifetime.

Posts - The Fredrick Jones line of wrought iron fence includes oversized, handmade, wrought iron posts with ornamentation fashioned by master blacksmiths out of red hot iron.  The post has solid steel, slotted receptacles that allow the fence section to be quickly bolted together, making a true and ridgid assembly to last a lifetime.

Accessories - Fredrick Jones offers custom accessories to compliment your wrought iron fence.  Accesories such as wrought iron light post covers, plant hangers and flower boxes are designed, then made by a master blacksmith.  Each is a one of a kind, work of art.

Traditions are the guideposts that nurture and connect us.  The Fredrick Jones wrought iron line of products are handcrafted in the designs of the past.
